Plug Valve

Quarter-turn isolation for tight shut-off, built to API 6D and ISO 14313 in sizes from DN 15 to DN 600.

Overview

The plug valve is a quarter-turn rotational valve in which a cylindrical or tapered plug turns to open or close the flow path. A 90-degree turn moves it from fully open to fully shut, which makes it fast to operate and dependable for isolation duty.

Soudarshini Valve manufactures plug valves for service where a clean bore and tight shut-off matter - gas and liquid pipelines, slurry lines and viscous media. Body, plug, seat and trim materials are selected to suit the medium, temperature and pressure of each application.
