Mr Sridharan carries 40 years of experience in the design, manufacture and marketing of valves, alongside deep expertise in metallurgy, surface engineering and non-destructive testing. That combination is unusual: most valve companies are run by managers who buy in their metallurgy. Here it sits at the head of the table.

He is an active member of the Chennai chapters of the American Society for Materials (ASM), the Indian Welding Society (IWS), the Indian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ISNT) and the National Association for Corrosion Engineers (NACE), and currently chairs the ASM India National Council.
